Learning From The Writing Center

Going to The Writting Center was more helpful, fun, and better than I expected it to be. When I walked in, eveyone was so nice. They welcomed me, introduced themself, and even gave me candy. The fellow I was working with was one a friend of my sister who I knew well, which made it easier on my first vist. During this vist, although she was close with me she did not allow that to get in the way of helping me with my paper. We stayed on task and got a lot of work done. She said I had spelling problems just like my sister, helped me realize my common errors, and how to elborate. She also was very good at saying instuctions in ways that I can understand. 

After my writting center vist, everything was not fixed for me. Because of this, I got a learning experience out of it trying to do what she helped me with by myslef. By doing this I was able to work and look back what she would have done by my self. I was very greatful that this was a requirement becasue otherwise I most likley would not have gone, and I would have missed out on a good experience. I now know that I can go, recieve great help, and enjoy it as well. I look forward to going again in my future.
